Fenit is a small village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on north side of Tralee Bay about 10 km west of Tralee town. The harbour at Fenit is the most westerly commercial port of Ireland and Mainland Europe. In 1851 a lighthouse was built on Little Samphire Island, located a few hundred metres west of Fenit pier.
By using the techniques I described in my blog, it was possible to capture this scene.
On my workshops I discussed these and other techniques I use to capture the landscape in dramatic black and white.
